More of our client mail...
Justin,
Just a short note of thanks for the
great trip. I now know why they call Northern BC God's country.
You guys are first class and so is
your business. We have already planned to return the summer of 2004, if
not earlier.
We currently have a party of 4 wishing
to come out.
Eric just sent the attached picture to
me and I have posted it in every fishermen's e-mail I know. Please pass
along a special thanks to Dale and his amazing staff at the Blackstone.
Thanks again

Hey Guys.
It's Stu Cornick from California.
First off, we had a blast fishing with you guys for the 3 days and
really enjoyed the Country, the lodge, food and fishing... Good stuff
and we're looking at making another trip out there next year if we can
pull it off...
Justin & Gill,
Just looked over your site and very
impressed with the quality you guys turn out. Congrats from Wisconsin.
Mary and I have sure missed you folks but next summer I think we are
coming back. A letter is on the way to Justin and will explain our
plans. Hope you two married guys are fine and the wives, too. Taylor
must be growing up fast. I was highly impressed with the big salmon with
Justin, a child and one guy who looks pretty strong to me. I'll guess
the salmon was 60 pounds or better. What a nice catch. We leave here
Sept. 17th for the Keys. I've done some salmon fishing on Lake Michigan
and caught some nice 20 pounders but that is about as big as they get
over that way. Once in a great while they do come across a 25 pounder
but that's the end of the line. Perhaps in the years ahead they will
start to match you guys. I doubt it as you have the best fishing in the
world. The nicest guides, too. Watch for your letter, Justin, I will
mail from here on Tuesday, right after Labor Day. Best regards to all.
js in wis. By the way, if either of you two guys get down to the Keys,
remember there's a room for you at our place.

Gill,
We had a really great time with you. I
have been catching myself thinking about the different rivers and
spectacular scenery all through the days since I have been back. Thanks
for the last day on the Williams, it was just as beautiful as all the
rest of the rivers. I caught so many fish I lost count. Great way to end
the last half day.
Do you have any pictures you will be
e-mailing or sending to us? Will Stuart is gloating about his e-mail
pictures, which we should send to you. Next time John & I are going
to insist upon our own digital camera shots! Of course Will no doubt
doctored them with liberal use of Photoshop. Look forward to fishing
with you again next year. I think next time I will come maybe in
September or October when the Silvers are more plentiful & of course
I will be a spey expert by then also!
Take care & I look forward to our
next trip up to see you.
Jim
Justin,
Thanks so much for making my trip with
my three sons so memorable. We all had a great time, the fishing was
great and the guide service superior. I even heard a few stories from
the boys that I hadn't heard before.

Hi Gill,
Could you please e-mail me a picture of
Bob's fish and my ~40 pounder (the slab). Thanks for the cooler bag full
of beer and pop. Great idea, you should give all your guests a party
pack like this. Not sure how we ended up with the cooler bag? Thanks for
a great trip!

WE ARRIVE!!!
Hi Justin&Gill! How are you? We
arrived with life and we think that it is not little thing. There were a
lot of security in the airport and we had to check everythings and our
hand bag, but we arrived, at last.
We have few pictures about you and we
are going to send you.
We hope you send us our pictures too.
We miss you, we remember a lot our
trip, because we enjoyed a lot. We hope repeat our experience again,
very soon, as soon as it's possible.
We wait your news very soon, we are
anxious for wathing our pictures with the big salmons, and with the best
guides, of course,
With our best wishes,
Germán & Amaya

us during our trip. Good luck and very best wishes.

Justin.
Just a note of thanks for the
day's fishing trip..it was FANtastic! as Vander Zalm used to say. You
did an outstanding and very professional job. This afternoon I saw your
show with Mark on the Kitimat using Wiggle Worts... I tried to tape it
to show my wife and kids, but the darn thing didn't record!! AArgh! But
it will come on again. I told my wife it was like being there all over
again, but Mark in the picture, not me. Regarding the photos...will you
send the through my e-mail address or on your website under photo album?
Looking forward to those pics, as we have a few doubters here, a few
non-believers. Anyhow , thanks again and hope to see you in the
future.

Justin and Gill,
I just wanted to drop you a
line, and thank you both for a great fishing trip. I hope to come back
next year with Paul. No one can believe the size of the fish we caught.
They think I doctored up all the pictures.
Take Care,
Mark Ogden
Gill,
I've just received
your pictures, and have seen the pictures on your website, they look
great, thank you!! I'll be sending all of my fishing buddies to your
site to see the pictures, hopefully I'll be able to generate some
interest in steelhead and salmon fishing now.
You'll be happy to know that I
have already taken the camera in, and the film has been removed. The
film should be processed by tomorrow at which time I'll get any good
fishing pictures scanned and e-mailed to you before the end of the week.
I still have this vision in my
head of hooking that big steelhead buck that cleared the surface of the
pool, then realizing that my level wind reel had developed a rats nest,
with the inevitable result of breaking off the tippet. . .
Thanks again for the great trip,
great fishing and a super time at the Stewart's.
All the best,
Rick Steinke.
Hello
Jim Teeny,
I've been meaning to email you for some time to thank you for your suggestion of West Coast Fishing's Gill
McKean.
I fished spring steelhead with him at Terrace BC for 6 days recently and had a great time on the Kitimat and some other small streams. He is a very excellent guide and fishing companion and their operation and equipment are first rate. Fish were mostly bright 12 to 17 LB. fresh does that aggressively took some of Gill's inventions, Steelhead Nightmare and string leeches in hot pink. I used both T200 and T300.
Hugo and I are going back in late July after our Dean River trip to fish the Skeena with Gill and Justin, and we have booked again for next years spring fishing. Gill spoke of your planned trip this December. I may try to go in November or join you in December, if it works out for Gill.
Do you have any plans for the Karluk River this fall? I may let it go for the first time in years in favor of the
Ayakulik, which I have fished many times, and/or a trip into a small system that we (Quartz Creek Lodge) have the permit to operate on in the Kodiak Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. I've only fished it once before and had excellent silver and very good steelhead fishing in late
Sept. - early Oct. If you have any interest in exploring a new fishery, please let me know.
Thanks again for giving me a very good tip on Gill and Justin.

Trophy
Chinook (Kings), Coho (Silvers), Chum (Dog Salmon), Sockeye (Reds) and
Pink Salmon along with Dolly Varden, Char and the best rainbow and cutthroat
trout fishing that North America has to offer. Lets not forget that the
Skeena region is home to the largest steelhead ever caught!
