Andrew Fairclough sets a new lodge record steelhead on a fly for DESIDERATA LODGE!!

-- WOW --
When Andy Fairclough arrived in Terrace as one of a group of seven Rod and Reel Adventurers, he never dreamed he would land a fish like "Mo".

"Mo" is short for Moby Dick and the photo (right) is a less than subtle indication of how it was named. This 40 inch, by 25 inch (girth) monster was landed on day one of our trip. Using a 'Gill's Creamsicle' and a 200 grain sink tip with his nine weight, Andy landed this bad boy steelhead after an epic twenty-five minute battle. The 12# leader was scuffed but intact at the end.

We released the beautiful fish unharmed and Mo swam away healthy and happy.

This is a LIFETIME FISH to say the least!

Congratulations Andy!!
